1. Corporate Income Tax Filing Service
* Corporate income tax filing services are provided only for federal and state corporate income tax returns.
* State income tax return services are not offered separately and are provided only in conjunction with federal income tax filing services.
* Local tax filings required by states, counties, or cities (e.g., sales tax, property tax, etc.) and compliance with those obligations are available as separate services upon client request.
2. Tax Advisory & Education Requests
* Corporate tax advisory services may be charged on a time-based fee basis, depending on the complexity and time required.
* For specialized or highly complex matters that require additional professional time, services will be provided only after advance notice of applicable additional fees in accordance with industry standards.
* Requests for educational explanations beyond a standard level—such as detailed calculation methods, applicable tax laws, or hands-on preparation guidance—made at the client’s request are not included in the base service fee and will be billed separately based on the professional’s hourly rate (Time-Based Fee).
3. Scope of Services & Limitations
* The above fees include only the preparation and filing of tax returns based on information provided by the client, as well as a standard industry-level summary of filing results and payment/refund amounts.
* The filing representation service described above is deemed complete upon delivery to the client of either the government acceptance record (E-file Acceptance Record) or proof of mailing (Evidence of Mailing Receipt) after submission.
* Any correspondence, responses, additional requests, or dispute resolution with the IRS or state tax authorities are provided as separate services and will be billed based on the time incurred.
* Clients are responsible for independently confirming any tax reporting obligations in Korea, and consultation with a professional is recommended if necessary (e.g., Overseas Direct Investment Reporting, Foreign Financial Account Reporting).
* Bank account opening approvals are subject to each bank’s internal review and discretion. Banks generally approve accounts for companies with certain industry types, size, or investment value; therefore, account approval is not guaranteed. Please note that account opening fees are non-refundable even if the application is denied.
4. Information Changes & Rework
* The Service Provider performs services based on information provided by the client and is not responsible for outcomes resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or omitted information.
* If rework or revisions are required due to changes, omissions, or inaccuracies in client-provided source information—where such changes are not attributable to the Service Provider—and additional time is required, extra service fees may be charged outside the original scope of work.
5. Tax Audits & Government Correspondence
* If a government audit or additional inquiries arise after the completion of tax filings, a separate service agreement will be required and additional fees may apply.
6. Service Fee Payment & Reimbursable Expenses
* Actual expenses such as filing fees, mailing costs, and administrative expenses are billed separately.
* If payment of service fees is requested in KRW, the amount will be converted based on the exchange rate announced on the payment date.
7. Monthly Retainer Services & Package Plans
* Monthly Retainer Services and package plans are available. Clients who are interested are encouraged to contact us separately for further details.
